When you haven’t seen your boyfriend in weeks, phone sex sort of works. Of course, it isn’t the typical euphoria with your partner that you may experience in-person… but who says it can’t be pleasurable, nonetheless?

The way I view it, my depression and anxiety can all together squash my desire for any type of pleasure. Shit, all every day I don’t even feel confident and/or attractive!

What about endorphins, hormones, and all that good shit? I’m 98.4% certain that having an orgasm will still make you feel good, regardless of how you achieve them. You still get the “after glow” sensation. So why not phone sex?

More importantly, when we suffer with anxiety and depression then phone sex may be the best thing ever!! You don’t have to move much or feel uncomfortable naked and you can feel secure in your bed (safety place), and the list goes on…

  • If it isn’t good, just hang out
  • No STD’s
  • You can use your towel, not theirs
  • No cuddles required
  • No sneaking out in the AM
  • You don’t have to fake an orgasm
  • No bad breath
  • No chance of pregnancy
  • Orgy = conference call
  • You can watch Gilmore Girls or Iron Man while on the phone

Whether you are having phone sex or not, I highly encourage you on your “good” days to engage in activity with your partner! Who knows, it may brighten your day – even if the brightness only lasts a few hours, it is better than nothing.
