Dear 2018 Self:

Don’t get worked up over things you can’t change.

Similarly, you cannot change others and it isn’t worth the anger, energy, or headache to try.

Control only what you can.

Let go. Let it be.

Smile often.

Cry when needed even if it is in public.

Don’t engage in unhealthy situations that will be a detriment to your wellbeing.

Find joy in simpleness.

You are worthy – do not forget it for a moment.

This is your year to finally live your life within healthy boundaries identified by you. Believe in yourself. Speak up. Take chances.
